The old Gypsy legend recalls a story of a holy mirror that scattered into thousands of pieces. Every new generation of the Gypsies wander around the world searching for them ever since.
Two of my friends, Stefani and Pedro, the founders of the Teatro La Boka, are in the process of creating a theatre play. It will be performed by the local Gypsy society of the Saragossa district they both live in with their daughter Frida. I was asked to make a poster. And although I imagine that a play will be far less fairy-tale-like, I choose to believe in the legends and dreams. Not to avoid searching for the truth. More to be able to notice what’s bright in this quest. When I listen to the fairy tales I see the world with more kindness.
